At Amaroo PS, we celebrate the rich diversity of our community, including the language and culture of the Deaf community through Auslan.

Auslan (Australian Sign Language) is the primary language of the Deaf community in Australia. It uses signs, facial expressions, and body language to communicate.

Learning Auslan promotes inclusivity and enhances communication skills for all students.

We are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Our Auslan program encourages communication and provides resources and classes for both students and staff to learn Auslan, fostering effective communication within our diverse community.
